There's a nifty license plate frame, that lets you display messages that you program using a remote control. Complete with hookup to brake light so it flashes all red when your brake lights go on.
Could be useful.
Especially if you want to hide the license renewal sticker (aka "tab" in some fiefdoms). The sizeable digital readout will cover where the sticker is on B.C. license plates.
The buyers of Canadian Tire in B.C. missed that one.
PS: If anyone has knowledge of how long it took the bureaucracy to figure that out and pull the product off shelves, please let me know. (Wouldn't surprise me if they just discount it drastically because of high complaint/return rate.)
PPS: Yes, they deserve credit for finding innovative products, but I am reminded of item 3 in a successful venture capitalist's list of evaluation criteria" can these people execute? (I.E. successfully implement their good idea, without which there is no income to pay back investors.) Here we have a small example of failing to implement.
